I Don’t Know If I’ll Ever Send This, But…

Ever find yourself going over a conversation long after the other person has probably forgotten it? Thinking about what you wish you’d said, or wishing you could explain why something upset you?

That’s why we made Letters I’ll Never Send. A notebook for getting things off your chest without having to decide what to do about them.

You can be cross, ramble, repeat yourself. You don’t have to be reasonable on the first page. Nobody else needs to read it, so there’s no need to spend ages making it sound right.

Autumn: A Time to Pause, Reflect and Reconnect

There’s something about autumn that feels like a natural turning point.

Summer holidays are over, routines are starting again, the evenings are drawing in and there’s that first sense that another year is beginning to move rather quickly.

And before we know it, the Christmas decorations will be appearing in the shops and December will arrive with its usual mixture of lists, plans, presents, parties and people to see.

But we’re not there yet.

For now, there’s autumn.

What to Say to Someone You Haven’t Spoken to in Years

Sometimes people drift out of our lives without anything dramatic happening.
Life gets busy. We move, change jobs, have families, lose touch. A message goes unanswered, then too much time passes, and eventually getting back in contact somehow feels harder than it should.

You might think about someone often and still have absolutely no idea what to say.

The good news is that you don’t need the perfect opening. You just need an honest one.

The Things We Mean to Say

There are things we say easily, happy birthday, thank you, sorry for your loss. But then there are the other things. The words we carry around, the messages we start typing and then delete. The friend you haven’t spoken to for far too long, the person who made a difficult time easier, the one you’re enormously proud of. These are the things worth saying. Life gets busy, but sometimes all it takes is a simple message: I think about you more than you probably know. If there’s something you’ve been meaning to say, find the words and say it now.
